Pair of fawns

This duo is about as big as they're going to get before losing their spots! Fawns are born with spots to help them hide when curled up in sun-dappled grass during the day. As they get bigger and more active, foraging for their own food, the spots become a liability and their fur turns uniformly brown. ​
